; New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2009 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia for Brenda Babineaux Ronosnet who died Wednesday, July 14, 2009 in New Iberia. ; Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. ; Rev. Donovan Labbe will be the Celebrant. ; Brenda retired from the U.S. Postal service after 27 years of service. Her hobbies included sewing, reading and shopping, but Brendas greatest pleasure was time spent with family and friends at their camp. The world is a little sadder place for many people today who feel this loss so deeply, but is a brighter place for having been touched by one who truly knew how to love with all her heart. ; Survivors include her husband Tommy Ronsonet of New Iberia; her sons, Michael J. Guidry and wife Veronica of Erath, Ryan T. Ronsonet; her daughter, Chrystel Marie Olander and husband Douglas of Cypremort Point; her brothers, Andrew Babineaux and wife Romona of Erath, Kirby Babineaux and wife Norma of New Iberia, Gordy Babineaux, Jr. and wife Ruth of New Iberia; her sisters, Genevieve LeLeux and husband Ray , Andrea M. Babineaux, both of New Iberia; grandchildren, Heather Guidry, Drake Guidry, Corey Olander, Seth Olander, Drake T. Ronsonet and Kenzie Ronsonet. ; She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordy Babineaux, Sr. and Flavie Hollier Babineaux; her sister, Joyce Suire. ; Pallbearers will be Keith Guilbeau, Shane Guilbeau, Beau Guillotte, Alfred Guillotte, Corey Hebert and Nick Mayeaux. ; Honorary pallbearers include Ray LeLeux, Kevin LeLeux, Chance LeLeux, Rogers Trahan, Paul Guilbeau and Fils Guilbeau. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 2:30 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday.
