Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Brenda L. Williams, 55, who passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Post-Acute Medical Specialty Hospital of Lafayette. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Brenda worked at Mulates Restaurant for 20 years and Walmart for 13 years. She enjoyed Zydeco dancing and parties. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved preparing Sunday dinners for her family to enjoy. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons, Johnathan Jermaine Williams and Jeremiah Jamal Williams and wife Victoria Castille; her daughter, Tiffianie Williams Simon and husband David of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Mary Jane Williams and Dianna Marie Christian and husband Rickey; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Barbara Ann Ledet Williams; her godfather, Larry Williams; and a host of uncles and aunts. Pallbearers will be David Simon, Brandon Williams, Keenan Porter, Christopher Williams, Isaac Carter, and Willie Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnathan J. Williams, Jeremiah J. Williams, Harrison Ledet, Ray Ledet, Johnathan J. Williams, II, and JaQuaylon Charles.
