Lafayette- With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Brinton "Bub" Jace Clark, a vibrant and joyful spirit who left us too soon on February 5, 2025, at the age of 15.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Crossroads Church. Visitation of family and friends will take place at Crossroads Church on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM.

Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

Brinton, known to many as "Bub", was born on November 16, 2009. He was an avid lover of the outdoors; finding joy in hunting, fishing, horseback riding, riding four wheelers, and being on the boat. He was actively involved in 4-H livestock showing, where he demonstrated his dedication and commitment to animals. Brinton cherished his time spent with his barn family, bonding with friends, like Reese Huval, as they worked diligently together, ensuring their pigs always looked their best. His enthusiasm for life was matched by his spirited nature, as he often said, "Pain is temporary, Swag is forever!" He always made sure his jeans were starched to perfection and that his fit was always "on point."

Brinton attended Acadiana Reading Center and was currently a 10th grader. He was also involved in jujitsu at Gladiators, displaying his determination and love for challenge. He was deeply connected to his faith community, finding joy in the youth group at Teche Baptist Church, where he recently attended a conference that filled his heart with inspiration and happiness.

Brinton's infectious smile and genuine spirit brought joy to all who knew him. His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Bub will be forever missed and his memory will always be cherished.

He is survived by his father, Rusty Clark; mother, Kylee Comb Clark; his siblings: Braydon Clark, Braxton Clark, and Jerzi LaGrange; grandparents, George "Rusty" and Denise Clark, Suzanne Quebedeaux, and Danny Comb; great-grandmother, Marie Quebedeaux; his extended family, Tara and Andrew "T-Drew", Blaine, Jace, Trace, Macy, Annalise, Abram, Alex, Andy and Clara Arnaud.

Pallbearers will be Braydon Clark, Braxton Clark, Blaine Arnaud, Jace Arnaud, Trace Arnaud and Jaxon Castille.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brinton Clark Foundation to support livestock projects for those in need. Please make checks payable to "Brinton Clark Foundation."

As we say goodbye to Brinton, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and honor his memory by embracing the love of family, friends, and the outdoors that he cherished so deeply. Rest in peace, dear Brinton; you will forever be in our hearts.
