Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Bunice Marie Knott Guidry, 86, who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until time of funeral service. A rosary will be recited by Cliff Hebert at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Bunice, better known as "Bin" was born in Arnaudville, LA to the late Gustave and Laura Dugas Knott. She enjoyed dancing, telling stories, speaking French, meeting new people, talking about the "old days", and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Guidry and wife Norma, Wilson Guidry and wife Becky, and Russell Guidry and wife Kathy; her daughters, Laura Duhon and husband Kevin and Helen Boudreaux; son in law, Ronald Boudreaux; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Guidry; daughter, Fable Marie Boudreaux; father, Gustave Knott; mother, Laura Dugas Knott; and 3 brothers, Valex, Claude, and Garner Knott. Pallbearers will be Barry Boudreaux, Bobby Guidry II, Cy Guidry, Aaron Guidry, Charlie Boudreaux, and Brian Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Guidry, Corey Boudreaux, Hunter Guidry, Ernie Boudreaux, Brent LeBlanc, Cohen Champagne, Carter Guidry, and Christopher Raxsdale.
