Bunice Marie LeBlanc

Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Bunice Marie LeBlanc, 79, who passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Rev. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Gift Bearers will be Bobby Jean LeBlanc, Cynthia Anne Turnipseed, and Randy James LeBlanc. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. LeBlanc, a most faithful and devout Catholic, was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the St. Joseph Adoration Society. She loved gardening and playing board games, especially Scrabble. She enjoyed cooking for everyone - no one could pass up her famous gumbo. Bunice cherished moments spent with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Anne Turnipseed and husband, David "Phil"; her sons, Randy James LeBlanc and wife, Mary, and Bobby Jean LeBlanc, Sr. and wife, Charisse, all of La Porte, TX; her brother, Norris Thibodeaux and wife, Frieda, of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Travis Gleason, Eric Gleason, Andre LeBlanc, Bobby "T-Bob" LeBlanc, Jr., Cory LeBlanc, Christopher Turnipseed, Ian Turnipseed, Abigail Pelafigue, Lainie Ramon, Randi Bentley, Elly Kaupa LeBlanc; and her great grandchildren, Cade Gleason, Chloe Gleason, Carlee Gleason, Jordan Bentley, Anthony Ramon, Alex Ramon, and Elysse LeBlanc She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Yves John LeBlanc; her parents, Wade and Beulah Tauzin Thibodeaux; and her brother, Harry Lee Thibodeaux Pallbearers will be Travis Gleason, Eric Gleason, Andre LeBlanc, Bobby "T-Bob" LeBlanc Jr., Cory LeBlanc, Christopher Turnipseed, and Ian Turnipseed.
