New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on ?Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, in New Iberia for Byron James Faulk, 57, who died on Wednesday, Juy 18, 2007 at his residence. ?Msgr. Richard Greene will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Mr. Faulk was a native of New Iberia and had been a resident of Broussard for the past four years. ?He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having honorably served his country in the United States Army. ?He was employed at Faulk's Truck Accessories for 35 years and also played on their softball team. ?He enjoyed reading and cycling and was a former member of the Cajun Cycling Team. Survivors include his wife, Susan Seely Faulk, of Broussard; one son, Brett J. Faulk, of Houston, TX; one daughter, Michelle Faulk LeBlanc and her husband, Sammy, of New Iberia; one grandson, Joey Bohannon, of New Iberia; his father, Jorsey Louis Faulk and his companion, Gloria Richard, of New Iberia; two brothers, Dana Faulk, of New Iberia, and Phil Faulk, his wife, Christine, and their children, Chad, Jamie and Josey, of Loreauville; two sisters, Carolyn F. Buchanan, of El Paso, TX, and Charlene F. Montgomery, and her children, Becky Montgomery, Shawn Montgomery, his wife, Misty, and their children, Trip and Ali, of New Iberia; his in-laws, Pete and Dorothy Seely, of Houma; his brothers-in-law, Mike Seely, his wife, Sheila, and their children, Amanda Seely, and Kristi Seely Robert, her husband, Steven, and their son, Cooper, of Houma, Pat Seely, his wife, Diane, of Houma, and their children, Brian Seely, his wife, Lindsay, of Prairieville, and Ashley Seely, of Houma; and his sisters-in-law, Laurie Seely Dugas, her husband, Buba, and their children, Jarred, Baylen, and Jayden, all of Prairieville; and Jill Seely Bianca, and her children, Jacob and Ben Seely, all of Houma. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Hebert Faulk; his brother, Craig Faulk; his grandson, Christopher J. Faulk; and his brother-in-law, Danny Seely. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA, from 4 p.m. until on 9 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007, and continue at 8 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Brett Faulk, Sammy LeBlanc, Buba Dugas, Johnny Broussard, Phil Faulk, Mike Seely, and Joey Bohannon.
