Carmen Champagne

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 14, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Carmen Judice Champagne, 83, who died Monday, September 12, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include her husband, Leed Champagne, Sr. of St. Martinville; her sons, Leed ""Jay Boy"" Champagne, Jr. and his wife, Brenda, and Hobson ""Hoppy"" Champagne and his wife, Joyce, all of St. Martinville; her daughters, Millie LeBlanc and her husband, Rick of Lafayette and Jackie LeBlanc and her husband, Francis of St. Martinville; her sisters, Lilly Mae LeBlanc and Florence Judice, both of Loreauville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Euphis and Marie Wiltz Judice; and her brothers, Oneil and Lawrence Judice. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be Brooks Champagne, Brody Champagne, Coby Champagne, Shane Guilbeau, Joe Judice, and Pat Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick and Francis LeBlanc. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
