Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Carol Martin Comb, 73, who died Monday, February 19, 2007 in Lafayette.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Comb honorably served his country in the U.S. Army from July 1, 1955 - July 1, 1957. ?He was retired from Delta Drilling after more than 25 years of service. ?He was a Perpetual Adorer at St. Bernard Church and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson and cooking.
Survivors include his son, Danny P. Comb and his wife, Sally of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Christine Cyr and her husband, Butch of St. Martinville and Sherry M. LeBlanc, and her fianc?, Henry Langston, Jr., of Little Rock, AR; his brothers, Robert Comb of New Iberia and Lee Allen Comb of Patterson; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Cyr, Jake Cyr, David LeBlanc, Beth Rodriguez, Denise Simon, Emma Comb, and Dillon Comb; one great grandchild, Brant Rodriguez; and one great grandchild on-the-way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozaire T. and Luce Guidry Comb; his wife, Lilly Guidry Comb; his son, Buddy Michael Comb; his brother, Harold Comb; and his sister, Ivy Louise Hotard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Pallbearers will be Butch Cyr, David LeBlanc, Robert Comb, Lee Allen Comb, Dillon Comb, and Kenneth Hotard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Dupuis, Nolan LeBlanc, and Boo-Boo Perry.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses for their faithful care and service provided to their father.
