Carol Paul Granger

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2005, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Carol Paul Granger, 73, who died Sunday, May 14, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Mr. Granger served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His favorite pastime was watching his family participate in sporting events and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a big fan of John Wayne. Survivors include his wife, Juliette L. Granger of Catahoula; his step-mother, Nell Granger of Parks; his sons, Todd Granger and his wife, Paula of Breaux Bridge, Percy Granger and his wife, Rene, and Toby Granger and his wife, Kimberly, all of Parks; his daughters, Carolyn Boudreaux and her husband, Weston of Catahoula, Connie Theriot and her husband, Ames, and Tammy Barras and her husband, Ricky, all of St. Martinville; his sister, Elaine Angelle of Cecilia; thirteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Busie Guidry Granger; his step-father, Lotor Boutte; his sister, Janet Marks; and two grandchildren, Cass Granger and Brannon Theriot. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 11:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Jason Boudreaux, Josh Boudreaux, Chase Barras, Lance Barras, Brandon Granger, and Trevor Granger. Honorary pallbearer will be Zackary Granger. Pellerin Funeral Home (337)332-2111 is in charge of arrangements.
