Carolyn Bourgeois Folkerth

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Carolyn Bouregois Folkerth, 58, who died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in the Broussard Cemetery. Pastor Dave Rousse will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 2:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A native of New Iberia, Carolyn was born on June 11, 1956, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She worked as a district manager for Burger King for over 24 years, and then as a cook at Victors Cafeteria. Carolyn enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her parents, Darrel and Helen Olivier Bouregois of New Iberia; husband, Timothy C. Folkerth of New Iberia; children, Shawn Rollins and wife Robin of Jeanerette, Ernie Rollins of New Iberia, Emily Maturin and husband Johnathan of New Iberia; brother, Patrick Bourgeois of New Iberia; sisters, Eve Dworaczyk and husband Sedric of New Iberia, Juanita Verret of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Trey Paul Duhon-Maturin, Madison Duhon-Maturin, Bentley Duhon-Maturin, Maison Joseph Rollins, Alicia Marie Grout, Jon Froisy, Noah Rollins, Braxton Rollins, and twin grandsons, Brantley and Blakley Maturin, due to arrive later this month. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, David and Olive Olivier, and Calise and Elina Bourgeois. Pallbearers will be Shawn Rollins, Ernie Rollins, Johnathan Maturin, Patrick Bourgeois, Sedric Dworaczyk, and Chad Touchet.
