VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, March 2, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Cassie Annette James Begnaud, 39, who died on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Pastor Bert Langley will conduct the funeral service. Cassie loved her Pitt Bulldogs, they were her babies. She enjoyed spending time with her family, nieces and nephews - it was her favorite thing to do. While living along the banks of the Bayou Teche in Breaux Bridge, LA, Cassie enjoyed fishing and boating when the weather was pretty. She was an excellent cook and everyone loved her cooking. Cassie's happy spirit will be greatly missed, but will always be treasured in the hearts of her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Cody Begnaud, of Breaux Bridge; one son, Stephen Guidry and his companion, Cana Trahan, of Lake Charles; one daughter, Ashlin Guidry, of Jennings; a step son, Cole Begnaud, of Breaux Bridge; a step daughter, Corie Begnaud, of Breaux Bridge; her parents, Charles and Janet Allen James, of Lafayette; a sister, Christie Guidry and her companion, Dustin Florence, of Breaux Bridge; her maternal grandmother, Jeanette Allen, of Brookhaven, MS, and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Parnell, of Houma, LA; her mother and father-in-law, Sue and Ricky Begnaud; brother-in-law, Todd Begnaud and his wife, Erica; nieces and nephews, Luke and Skylee Begnaud, and Carlie, Jada and Timothy Guidry; great nephew, Christian Guidry; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rudolph Allen and paternal grandfather, Jimmy Parnell. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7 a.m. on Monday until time of service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Begnaud, Timmy Guidry, Jason Case, Johnathan Case, William Case, and Stephen Guidry.
