Cecile Prince Gardemal

St. Martinville - Family and friends of Cecile Prince Gardemal will gather together at St. Michael Mausoleum at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 for prayers and scriptures with interment following. A Celebration of Life will be held at La Maison in St. Martinville, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 2:15 p.m. Mrs. Gardemal was 93, and passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at St. Martinville Rehab and Nursing Center. Survivors include two sons, John B. Gardemal and his wife, Annette, of Parks, and Richard A. Gardemal, of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Jo Ann Allen and her husband, James, of St. Martinville; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Anthony Mac Gardemal; her parents, Leon and Emerite Louviere Prince; her brothers, George, Joe, Bill, Gilbert and Gustav Prince; her sister, Esmae Delahoussaye; two grandchildren, Micah Gardemal and Jennifer Michelle Gardemal; and two great grandchildren, Dylan Gardemal and Skye Gardemal. Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
