Cecile LeBlanc Hebert

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Cecile LeBlanc Hebert, 85, who died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Mrs. Hebert loved the outdoors and sewing. Her family and grandchildren were her fondest treasure. Survivors include two sons, Huet J. Hebert and his wife, Sandra of Cecilia and Myrk G. Hebert and his wife, Helen of Lafayette; one sister, Edmay Amy of Henderson; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amelia Patin LeBlanc; her husband, George K. Hebert; one daughter, Claudette Hebert; two brothers, Aristille and Steven LeBlanc; and two sisters, Alvina Stewart and Solange Hayes. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue until time of service on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Paul Hebert, Todd Hebert, Tony Hebert, Brody Guillory, Wayne Amy, and Judy Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul James Hebert, Jr., Kelby Daigle, Ward Stewart, Randy Guidry, Curley LeBlanc, Cody Huval, Kevin Courville, Casey Courville, and Herman Courville. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. John Leleux and the staff of the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
