Celeste Aubry Fontenette

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 29, 2008, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Celeste Aubry Fontenette, 90, who passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Rev. Thomas Mullally, SVD, pastor of ?Notre Dame Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Survivors include her sons, George Fontenette of St. Martinville and Leonard Fontenette and his wife, Phyllis of New Iberia; her daughters, Joycelyn F. Barras and her husband, Paul of Lafayette, Jennie F. Honore and her husband, Ronald of Lake Charles, ReAllen F. Broussard and her husband, Anthony of Lafayette and Enolia F. Morgan of Lafayette; her step brother, Leonard Aubry, Jr. of Texas; her 16 grandchildren, Karen A. Poole, Sherman ""Kennith"" Caillier, Jr., Kathleen M. Erbs-Caillier, Katrina M. Vallier, Carmelita Zenon, George Fontenette, Jr., Darlita Washington, Chandra R. Lyons, Casey Fontenette, Stephanie Carter, Ronald Honore, Jr., Kimberly Jones, Danielle Matthews, Joseph Morgan, III, Candice M. Dozier and Leonard Christopher Fontenette; and her 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Fontenette; her son, Lugger Fontenette; her parents, Leonard and Rose Labbe Aubry; her brothers, Adolph, Rodolph and Emest Aubry; her sisters, Octavia Catalon, Lena Pratt and Lully Trahan. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St.Martinville. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Joseph Morgan, III, Ronald Honore, Jr., Leonard Christopher Fontenette, George Fontenette, Jr., Casey Fontenette and Sherman ""Kennith"" Caillier. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
