Celestine Amy Courville

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2006, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Celestine Amy Courville, 88, who died Wednesay, August 9, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Survivors include her three sons, Clevan Courville of Butte LaRose, Clarence Courville and his wife, Sue of Henderson, and Armond ""Neg"" Courville and his wife, Judy of Grand Bois; her daughter, Gail Ann Courville Chautin of Cecilia; her daughter-in-law, Joann Courville of Breaux Bridge; twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Courville; her parents, Sosthene and Celeman Boudreaux Amy; her son, Douglas Courville; her daughter, Gloria Courville; her daughter-in-law, Betty Courville; her brother, Rufus Amy; and her sisters, Enola LeGrande, Eliza Delahoussaye, and Cecile Scrantz. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue until time of service on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Clarence Courville, Hal Courville, Eric LeBlanc, John Chautin, Ashton LeBlanc, and Danny Frederick. Honorary pallbearer will be Armond ""Neg"" Courville. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
