Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Cevelia Gary Juneau, 84, who passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, in Coteau
Interment will follow in the church cemetery
Rev. Bryan Harrington will be the Celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 9:00 am until 2:15 pm on Tuesday.
A lifelong area resident, Cevelia Gary Juneau was born on May 24, 1934. She enjoyed dancing to French music, being outdoors, and drinking coffee with her family.
Mrs. Juneau is survived by sons, Raymond Badeaux, Jr. and wife Shirlene of St. Martinville, Norman Badeaux and wife Sydney of New Iberia, and Shawn Juneau and companion Gail of Lewisburg, LA; daughters, Ruby Ann Theriot and husband Craig of Amelia, Elly Romero and husband Gerald of Coteau, Sharon Stevens and husband Craig of Avery Island, and Hazel Badeaux of Coteau; sister, Doris Cormier of Lafayette; grandchildren, Raymond Badeaux, III, Broc Badeaux, Tommy Derouen, Jr., Rachael Toups, Jennifer Bellot, Jessica Persilver, Jamie Wilson, and Jody Romero; 22 great grandchildren; and a godchild, Morris Cormier.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Badeaux, Sr. and Earl Juneau; father, Ledier Gary; mother, Olive Segura Migues; and an infant daughter, Judy Ann Badeaux.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Badeaux Jr., Shawn Juneau, Raymond Badeaux III, Tommy Derouen Jr., Gerald Romero, and Craig Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers are Broc Badeaux and all of her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mrs. Juneau's son, Raymond Badeaux, Jr.
