Chad Anthony Segura

Lydia - Funeral services will be held at 11:0o am Monday, January 29, 2018 at Our Savior's Church, 1201 E. Broussard Rd., Lafayette, LA 70508, for Chad A. Segura, who died suddenly at his family home on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the age of 48. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and will resume on Monday from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. Chad was married to the love of his life, Rachel, for twenty-four years. He is survived by their two sons Seth (Kayla Iguess) and Scott (Brittany Patout); his parents Larry and Gail Segura; brothers, Warren and Joey Segura; in-laws, Harold and Mildred Landry; sister- in-law, Rhonda Vital and husband Patrick; nieces, Lauren Rogers, Alexis Segura and Amber Bodin; nephew, Dakota Smith; Landon Olivier and Jalynn Provost who were like his grandkids; godchildren, Shea and Stevie Bourque, Alexis Segura, Nick Boutte, and Cole Hebert; and three special friends, Curt Bourque, Dean Schaubert and Tim Daly. Chad was loved by many and will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry Segura and Hazel Touchet; and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Amelia Borel. Pallbearers are Seth Segura, Scott Segura, Warren Segura, Joey Segura, Dean Schaubert, Tim Daly and Curt Bourque. Honorary pallbearers are Jarret Coon Provost, Tony Alleman, Cody Bourque, Butch Bourque, Dylan Darbonne, Justin Bourque, Craig Landry and Kevin Schexnaider. Because of Chads love for his church and children, the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Saviors Church Legacy Fund, 1201 E. Broussard Rd., Lafayette, LA 70508, or to St Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
