Charlene Thibodeaux Colley

New Iberia Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 15, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Charlene Thibodeaux Colley, 58, who died on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Deacon Wade Broussard will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A native of New Iberia, Charlene was born on December 22, 1955, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She worked as a district manager for Popeyes, and her hobbies included fishing, cooking, and going to the casino. Survivors include her son, Chance Louviere and wife Cher of Lafayette; grandchildren, Charlize Louviere, Chloe Louviere, and Claire Louviere all of Lafayette; brothers, Wayne Thibodeaux, Sr. and wife Brenda of New Iberia, Tim Thibodeaux and wife Belinda of New Iberia; close friend, Mary Lynn Vincent of Lafayette; uncle, Charles Thibodeaux of New Iberia; brother-in-law, Curlis Boy Vice of New Iberia; sister-in-law, Wilda Thibodeaux of Delcambre; and her adopted daughter, Jennifer Broussard and husband Greg of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis LJ Thibodeaux and Eunice Thibodeaux; brother, Kenneth Thibodeaux; and a sister, Terry Vice. Pallbearers will be Chance Louviere, Louis Thibodeaux, Wayne Thibodeaux, Jr., Greg Broussard, Travis Paul Thibodeaux, and Thomas Adkins.
