Charlene Naquin Kidder

Cecilia - A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Charlene Naquin Kidder, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Lafayette General Southwest. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday. Father Keith Landry will officiate at the Memorial Service. Readers will be Ensley Thompson and Kaitlyn Kidder. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Charlene, also known as, "Nana", served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was also a member of Heart Strings and Angel Wings, where she used her love of sewing to make gowns for infants in need. Charlene enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening. She was known to many as a caregiver, who was always willing to lend herself to others. Above all, Charlene loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving spouse Bobby Charles Kidder; son, Phillip Kidder (Annette) of Arnaudville, LA; daughters, Jennifer Kidder Guidry (Terry) of Breaux Bridge, LA and Dr. Shelly Kidder Thompson of New Iberia, LA; sister, Deborah Naquin of Cecilia, LA; brothers, Mark Naquin (Jacquie) of OH and Michael Naquin of Houston, TX; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kidder, Mason Kidder, Hunter Kidder, Kloe Guidry and Ensley Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Naquin; mother, Daisy Naquin; and brother, Louis Naquin.
