Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Charles ""Charlie"" Allen Chauffe, 66, who passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Charlie was an avid fan of NASCAR. ?He was a resident of St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center for the past 7 years. Survivors include his father, Lester Chauffe of Breaux Bridge; his son, Shane Chauffe of Byhalia, MS; his daughters, Donna Lopez and her husband, Richard of New Iberia, Brandi Chauffe of Hillsboro, OR and Kelly Thompson and her husband, Eric of Roseburg, OR; his brother, Terry Chauffe and his wife, Giselle of Lafayette and his sister Elaine Mayes and her husband, James Darrell of Breaux Bridge; 12 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. ? He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Begnaud Chauffe. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2008 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Terry Chauffe, Darrell Mayes, Willie Breaux, John Allen Chauffe and Ray Girouard. ?
