Charles "Chuck" Boudreaux

Coteau – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, for Charles “Chuck” Boudreaux, 62, who passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Entombment will follow in the Church Mausoleum.

Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home, and will continue Wednesday, from 8:00 am until 10:15 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

Mr. Boudreaux was born on September 9, 1962, in New Iberia, to the late Deacon Ulysse Boudreaux and Elaine Freyou Boudreaux, and was a 1981 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He was a Corrections Officer with the Iberia Parish Sheriff Department and was a Third-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. A die-hard hockey fan, Chuck also enjoyed fishing, making jokes, no matter of the situation, and he loved “getting dragged along on Disney Trips” with his late wife, Trisha.

Survivors include his children, Casey Boudreaux (Elizabeth) and Meghan Boudreaux (Kathryn); grandchildren, Jenson Boudreaux and Asher Armand; brothers, James Boudreaux (Brenda), Gregory Boudreaux (Janet), and Peter Boudreaux (Janet); sisters, Marla Hebert (Bryan) and Darla Frederick (Michael); sister-in-law, Suzanne Boudreaux; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Patricia “Trisha” Boudreaux; brother, Barry Boudreaux; sister. Tonyia Dugan; brother-in-law, Larry Dugan.

Pallbearers will be members of the Iberia Parish Sheriff Department.

Honorary pallbearers include his brothers, James Boudreaux, Gregory Boudreaux, and Peter Boudreaux.
