VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, for Charles Daniel Hebert, 37, who passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 at his residence in Cecilia, surrounded by his family. Interment will follow at Henderson Bible Church Cemetery in Henderson. Reverend Paul Estes, of Kaplan, will conduct the funeral service. His sister, Holly Aucoin, will give the eulogy. Charles was a graduate of Cecilia High School and was a member of the Cecilia High School Marching Band, having played the wind instruments and excelled with the guitar. He continued spending many years following the band and continuously expressed his tremendous pride in them. His family hopes that everyone will remember how brave he was during his illness - "He fought a good fight." Survivors include his parents, Russell and Debra Hayes Hebert, of Cecilia; his sister, Holly Aucoin and her husband, David M. Aucoin, of Lafayette; maternal grandparents, Wilven and Evelyn Hayes, of Henderson; his nephew, Cory Aucoin, of Lafayette; and his special friend, Mandy Brown, of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andy Hebert and Anna Boudreaux; his uncles, Roger Boudreaux, Jr. and Lester Bergeron; and a cousin, Gabriel Salmon Boudreaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Henderson from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8 a.m. until time of service on Friday. Pall Bearers will be Donald Hayes, Wallace Hayes, David Aucoin, Joseph "J.C." Guillot, Ray Noel, and Gerald Long. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Allen Paul Devillier and Paul Joseph Morvant, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
