New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM , Saturday, October 1, 2011 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Charles W. Parker, 59, who passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 in New Iberia . Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Kenneth Leleux will officiate. Born on April 24, 1952 , Mr. Parker was a program analyst for the Department of Defense. A graduate of USL in Lafayette , he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and watching football, especially the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers. Survivors include his daughter, Melia Parker LaRose and husband Jay Michael LaRose of Morgan City; sister, Martha Sue Parker of New Iberia; grandchildren, Shelby Nicole Csaszar, Jace Matthew Guidry, Cade Allan Guidry; step children whom he raised, Jason Adams, Emily Adams; and his former wives, Lillian LeBlanc of New Iberia, and Ellen Ibert of Anacoco. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert Parker and Mary Louise Carter Parker; sisters, Patricia Ann Romero, Margaret Ellen Parker; niece, Tricia Romero. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia .
