Charles Waller

Abbeville – Private services were held for Charles A. Waller, Jr., 49, who passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019, in Lafayette. Charles was born on September 8, 1969 to Charles Waller, Sr. and Marguerite Roueche Waller. He worked as a carpenter, and was a talented artist. Charles enjoyed fishing and canoeing. Survivors include his mother, Marguerite Mitchell of Abbeville; sisters, Denise Waller of Maurice, Jenise Hebert and husband Gary of Abbeville; son, Charles Lane Waller and wife Tamika of Lake Arthur; daughter, Desiree Chaisson and husband John of Jennings; half-sister, Rebecca Waller - West; half-brother, Brett Waller; grandchildren, C.J. Waller, Isabella Waller, and Emma Chaisson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Armand Waller, Sr., and a son, Sammy Waller. The family would like to give special thanks to Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home and Heart of Hospice for their care and compassion.
