Chelsea Elizabeth Thurmond

Youngsville - A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Chelsea Elizabeth Thurmond, 37, who passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at her residence. Chelsea was an avid reader and took great pride in her education. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Louisiana State University and was currently striving to obtain her Master's Degree in social work. Chelsea will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Ava Blake Thurmond; her mother, Mary Thurmond, both of Youngsville; and her brother, Sebastian Thurmond of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her father, Tritos Thurmond. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
