Cheriee Trahan

Cecilia- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Cheriee Marie Trahan, 42, who passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 2:45 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Keenan W. Brown will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Shea Trahan and Miranda Breaux. Gift Bearers will be Miguel Sheppard and Syrus Cormier. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Cheriee attended Mass regularly at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville. She enjoyed reading her bible and quiet moments of prayer time. Cheriee also enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, playing with her dogs, cleaning house, going camping, swimming, and taking leisurely baths. She loved talking on the phone, visiting with family and friends, while enjoying a good cup of coffee, and she most especially loved playing with her grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Michael Trahan, Sr.; her mother, Patricia Chastant; three sons, Cody Guidroz, Joshua Trahan, and Michael Trahan, Jr.; two daughters, Shea Trahan and Lindsey Trahan; two brothers, Jason and Jacob Chastant; and five grandchildren, Gabrielle Champagne, Corey Sassau, Syrus Cormier, Kaiser Guidroz, and Anlzee Cormier. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Shirley Halphen. Pallbearers will be Michael Trahan, Jr. Joshua Trahan, Cody Guidroz, Bobby Sheppard, Paul Lasseigne, and Duke Guidroz. Honorary pallbearers will be Skylar Hebert and Nelson Trahan.
