VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge, for Chris James Matthews, 8 months old, who passed away on Friday September 12, 2008 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Chris was always happy and smiling. He loved to crawl and get into the cabinets. He especially loved to be held. He enjoyed playing with his older sister, Myliahia, whom he adored. He enjoyed spending his time playing and visiting with his cousins, mother, father, grandmothers, grandfathers, aunts and uncles. Survivors include parents, Chris James Perry and Monique Matthews of Breaux Bridge, his maternal grandparents, Jeneita Roberts of Breaux Bridge and Wilfred Jones of Port Arthur, TX; his paternal grandparents, Sharon Perry and Loggis Sampy of Breaux Bridge and his sister, Myliahia Matthews of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Harry Paul Perry and Cleveland Matthews, Sr.; his great uncle, Donald Ray Matthews and his aunt, Shanique Matthews. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 416 Dauterive St., is in charge of arrangements.
