Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Christina Martin, 47, who passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM on Saturday. 

Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate the memorial service.

Christina was born on September 5, 1976, in Breaux Bridge.  Christina dedicated her career to serving others as an employee of SLCC (South Louisiana Community College). Her work was not merely a job to her; it was a passion that allowed her to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her. Christina viewed her coworkers as an extension of her own family.

Beyond her professional achievements, Christina's true essence could be found in the way she embraced life's simple pleasures. She possessed an unparalleled talent for crafts and had a special love for creating exquisite jewelry. 

She is survived by her companion Ricky Gary; sons, Austin Meaux and Cory Gary; parents, John and Sandra Theriot Martin; sister, Amanda (Aaron) Priest; niece, Kailey Priest; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Leroy and Yola Martin; maternal grandparents, Olden and Therese Theriot; and her niece, Kennedy Isabella Priest.
