Christopher Ambrose Flugence, Jr.

New Iberia- Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in New Iberia for Christopher Ambrose Flugence, Jr., 22, who passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Pastor Allen Randall will officiate.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Saturday.

Christopher was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on November 6, 1998. A loving father, he loved basketball, playing Play Station with his brothers, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Christopher Ambrose Flugence, Sr. (Stephanie) of New Iberia; mother, LaTanya Lewis (Glenwood) of New Iberia; daughter, Paige Unique Flugence; son, Kri'Shawn Ambrose Barlow; siblings, Lashay Unique Flugence, Glenwood Terry Lewis, Markaysha Mallery (Frederick Collette), Deon Mouton, and Marlon Mouton; and his maternal grandmother, Pamela Jean Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph James Broussard; paternal grandmother, Theresa Hill Flugence; and paternal grandfather, Austin Flugence.
