New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 23, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Christopher G. LeBlanc, 44, who passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018, in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Rev. Korey LaVergne will be the Officiant. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home 9:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 11:00 am. A native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette, Christopher G. LeBlanc was born on April 29, 1974. He was a great cook, and loved fishing, hunting, boating and camping. He was a loving father, son and friend, and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his parents, Alton and Wendy Champagne LeBlanc of Youngsville; sons, Ridge and Zachary LeBlanc of Lafayette, and Shae LeBlanc of Berwick, LA; brother, a Troy LeBlanc and wife Jill of Broussard; godchildren, Kylie Hymel and Bryce Cormier; niece, Amber LeBlanc; nephew, Beau LeBlanc; and numerous aunts and uncles. Chris was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Stephanie Dawn Cormier; maternal grandparents, Harold and Beverly Champagne; paternal grandparents, Lee and Yvonne LeBlanc; and godmother, Cynthia Marks Champagne. Pallbearers include Ridge LeBlanc, Karl Champagne, Ross Molbert, Jr., Troy LeBlanc, Beau LeBlanc, and Chad Champagne.
