Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Christopher Julius Monceaux, 42, who passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 and continue on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rev. Allen Breaux, will conduct the services. Interment will follow at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mire, LA . Survivors include his wife, Christina Monceaux of Breaux Bridge; his mother, Sandra Ann Johnson; his sisters, Trisha (Reginald) Berken of Iota and Kayla (Nick) LaFleur of Youngsville; 8 step-children; and 12 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Julius Monceaux, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Inez Johnson; and his paternal grandparents, Floyd Monceaux, Jr. and Nella Monceaux.
