Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, on Friday, December 12, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Christopher "Max" Paul Wiltz, 47.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Friday.
Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Mildred Alexander. Gift Bearers will be Hannah Skipper and Madison Shield. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Christopher Paul Wiltz was born on May 22, 1967 to the late Leroy J. Wiltz and Rosalie F. Wiltz. On December 5, 2014, he went home to God. Christopher loved to cook and especially eat. He loved having his friends around him.
He is survived by his sisters, Celeste W. Shield (Miller) of Norfolk, VA and Keylia Wiltz (Trevella Lee) of Breaux Bridge; aunts, Genevie Harris and Anna Barber of Houston, TX, Mildred Alexander, Eva Mouton, and Alda Barber, of Breaux Bridge, Hilda Spencer of Arnaudville, Doris Roman of St. Martinville, and Mary Alice Malone of Tacoma, WA; uncles, Henry Ledet, Clifton Ledet, Carroll Barber, and Darrell Barber of Houston, TX; and his nieces Hannah Rose Skipper and Madison Jade Shield.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Rosalie Fontenette Wiltz; his maternal grandparents, Celestine Ledet and John Alexander; his paternal grandparents, Joseph H. and Beatrice Alexander; uncles, Douglas Ledet, Alton Ledet and Henry Alexander; and his aunts, Lou Bertha Alexander, Alberta Pete, Mary Ann Wiltz, Mary Lou Alexander and Laurie Hypolite.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Constantine, Domonic Martinez, Vincent Pete, Tremaine Lee, Lonnie Pete, and Corey Wiltz.
Honorary pallbearers will be Everette Demouchet, Henry Ledet, Clifton Ledet, Trevella Lee, and Coonie Stagg.
