Christyal "Peanut" Belaire Chiasson

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Christyal "Peanut" Belaire Chiasson , 49, who passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 8:30 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Christyal, known as "Peanut" to her family and friends, enjoyed doing arts and crafts and floristry work. She was extremely creative and talented. Peanut loved to travel, especially going camping with her family. Her family was her life, especially her husband and son, and she cherished her moments spent with them. Peanut will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Dane Chiasson; son, Garrett (Atalie Miller) Chiasson; sister, Eunice (Troy) Frederick; step children, Breanna and Nathan Chiasson; two brothers, Kenneth (Susan) Belaire and Patrick (Janice) Belaire; four grandchildren, Cheyanne Miller, Kobin Wallace, Kayden Wallace and Aubree Chiasson; three nieces, Danielle (Adam) Harrison, Kayla (Brodie) Frederick and Victoria Frederick; two nephews, Jordy (Katie) Belaire and Jamie (Sabrina) Belaire; and six great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, LeeRoy Paul Belaire and Christy Dugan Belaire. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Belaire, Garrett Chiasson, Patrick Belaire, Jordy Belaire, Jamie Belaire Matthew Delcambre, Seth Chiasson and Troy Frederick.
