Chuck Earl Huval

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm, on Friday, October 9, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Chuck Huval, 46, who passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7:00 am until 2:45 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday by Deacon Ken Soignier. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Jackie Cormier and Mona Roberts. Gift Bearers will be Chelsey Huval, Shelly Petry, Santana Taylor, and Sherry Huval. Entombment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Chuck was employed with PHI for many years and decided to become a truck driver, which he loved doing as well. He enjoyed fishing, boat riding, hunting, cooking, and riding his Harley around town. Chuck truly loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his daughter, Chelsey, who he loved unconditionally. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Joseph Earl Huval and Linda Guidry Huval of Cecilia; his daughter, Chelsey Huval and companion, Joshua Picard of Cecilia; his sister, Shelly Petry and husband Grady of Cecilia; and his godchildren, Santana Taylor and Grant William Petry of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Jerry Guidry, Sr. and Pauline Angelle Guidry; paternal grandparents, Harold "Grant" Huval and Clarice Arnaud Huval. Pallbearers will be Grady Petry, Joshua Picard, Bryan Cormier, Dax Guidry, Alex Serrano, and Lester Betancourt.
