Chuck Martin Sieber

St. Martinville - A Rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, followed by a eulogy at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Chuck M. Sieber, 60, who passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in St. Martinville from 11:00 am until the time of the Rosary on Saturday.

Dot Daspit will recite the Rosary.

Chuck was self-employed for most of his life. He had an auto paint and body shop for a while, then went into truck driving and later, home building and repair.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting, trail riding, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his daughter, Natalie, and his black Lab, Jet.

Chuck's health had been deteriorating over the past 10 years with multiple diagnoses, which ended his life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Lynn Sieber; brothers, Gerald P. Sieber (Marsha) and Kirk A. Sieber (Juanita); sisters, Jeanette Sieber Dore, Crystal Sieber Wiltz, Helen LaBiche (Eugene), and Hazel Dupuy; former wife, Rachelle Gauthier Sieber; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Boutte Sieber and George Sieber; brother, Nicholas George Sieber; sister, Mary Myrtle Sieber Champagne; brothers-in-law, Donald Dupuy and Sam P. Champagne; and sister-in-law, Dercie Sieber.
