Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, April 4, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Cindy Poirier Thibodeaux, 46, who passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Medical Center of Southwest LA in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the service. Cindy loved gambling and going to the casino. There was no greater joy for her than buying toys for Sebastian. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones. Survivors include her husband, Laurent Thibodeaux; her son, Jeremy Raymond Poirier and his wife, Brooke; her daughter, April Lynn Thibodeaux, her parents, Raymond and Irene Tauzin Poirier, all of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Ricky Poirier and Jimmy Poirier, both of Breaux Bridge, and Russell Poirier, of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Linda Poirier, Vickie Kidder, Yvonne Angelle, and Connie Poirier, all of Breaux Bridge; and two grandchildren, Sebastian and Aiden Poirier. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Pesson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:30 p.m. on Thursday and continue until 12:30 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Ricky Poirier, Jimmy Poirier, Russell Poirier, Jeremy Poirier, Raymond Poirier, and Shane Breaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty, Dusty, Hunter, and Shannon Poirier, Jack Angelle, Justin Boudreaux, and Shawn Breaux. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
