Claire Elizabeth Guidry

Breaux Bridge- Private services will be held for Claire Elizabeth Guidry, 43, who passed away on July 11, 2023. 

Claire was born on March 25, 1980 in Baton Rouge. She grew up most of her life in Breaux Bridge. From an early age, it was clear that she possessed a unique talent for artistic pursuits. She graduated from Lafayette High School and it was during her time in high school that she discovered her love for art and Audrey Hepburn, finding inspiration in Hepburn's grace and elegance.

Throughout her life, Claire explored various forms of artistic expression. Her true passion lay in painting, photography, and graphic design. Her artwork captivated viewers and invited them into a world of beauty and imagination. In addition to her creativity, she was an excellent baker and enjoyed being in the kitchen.

But Claire was more than just her hobbies; she was a warm and compassionate person who touched the lives of everyone she met. Her free spirit was infectious, inspiring others to embrace their individuality and to pursue their dreams fearlessly. She possessed an innate ability to brighten even the darkest days with her contagious laughter and genuine kindness. Her memory will continue to inspire creativity and encourage others to find beauty in every corner of life.

She is survived by her children, Ainsley Myers, Emma Myers, Liam Breen, Audrey Breen, Grayson Breen and Isabelle Guidry; father, Sam Guidry; mother, Dr. Rebecca Dupuis Doise;  siblings, Karyn Guidry, Laura Guidry, David Guidry, and Douglas Doise; paternal grandparents, Kercy and Betty Guidry; aunts and uncles, Kirk Guidry, Sandra Guidry, Elizabeth Champagne, and John Dupuis. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gaby and Ruth Dupuis. 

In honoring Claire's memory, let us remember her zest for life and unwavering commitment to self-expression. Though she may no longer be with us physically, the impact she made during her time on this earth will forever remain. May Claire Elizabeth Guidry's vibrant spirit continue to guide us all as we navigate the journey of life, reminding us to follow our passions and embrace the beauty that surrounds us.
