Clarence Guidry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Clarence Guidry, 87, who died Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Clarence loved horses, trail rides and spending time with Ray Pellerin. Survivors include his daughters, Myrna G. Burley, and her husband, Dick of Dubach, LA and Sue G. Kidder and her husband, Bobby of Cecilia; seven grandchildren, Terri Wagner, Keith Burley, Shane Burley, Joan Ann Cochran, Matthew Guidry, Lonny Kidder and Leslie Escoyne; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ota Angelle Guidry; his son, Ivy S. Guidry; his parents, Leonce and Canstance Latiolais Guidry; and his brother, Ferdie Guidry. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Pallbearers will be Terri Wagner, Joan Ann Cochran, Jason Escoyne, Lonny Kidder, Matthew Guidry and Keith Burley.
