St. Martinville - A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Clarence Joseph Hypolite Sr., 95, who passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday. Rev. Darren Benoit will officiate at the Memorial Service. Inurnment will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery in St. Martinville. He is survived by his daughters, Juanita Mitchell, Linda Thomas, Judy Bennett, Pearl Jones and Wanda Vital; sons, Shelby Hypolite, Clarence Hypolite, Jr., Wilbert Hypolite and Carl Hypolite; sister, Julia (Hayman) Mason; and brother, Willie (Elva) Hypolite. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Skipper Hypolite; sister, Malerena Hypolite; brother, Israel Hypolite; and parents, Harry Hypolite and Rose Hypolite.
