St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Clarence J. Kately, 81, who died Saturday, May 27, 2006 in Dallas, Tx. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville, LA. Fr. Thomas Mullally, pastor of Notre Dame Catholic Church will conduct the services. Mr. Kately was a member of the Union Benevolent Society. Survivors include his two lovely daughters, Thelma Jones Cartwright and her husband George Cartwright of Houston, TX, and Amanda Kately Flood and her husband Harry P. Flood, Jr. of Arlington, TX; his brother, Herman Kately, Sr. of St. Martinville, LA; his sistersm Victoria Marks of St.Martinville, Mazel Chretien of Port Arthur, TX and Ethel Jones of St. Martinville, LA ?? His parent?s Sam Kately, Sr. and Mary St. Julien preceded Clarence Kately in death. ?His treasured wife Edna Johnson Kately and children Cornelius Kately Sr. and Mary Alice Kately. His three brothers Raymond, Joseph, Willie and Sam Kately Jr., and one sister Olla Mae Broussard preceded him in death. ?? The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7AM on Saturday, June 03, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30AM on Saturday, June 03, 2006. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville, LA is in charge of arrangements.
