Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Clark B. Thibodeaux, 62, who passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM on Friday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate the memorial service. Readers will be Nina Judice and Angel Quebodeaux. Music will be provided by Clark Schexnider.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard #2 in Breaux Bridge.
Clark Blaine Thibodeaux, a devoted and beloved member of the Saint Martin Parish community and who worked for Lafayette Consolidated Government for 13 years. His passion for making the world a better place was evident in all his endeavors, including his involvement with Crime Stoppers and serving as an absentee member of the Commission of Elections and was a notary for St. Martin Parish. Clark was a graduate of SLCC and used his education to succeed.
In his younger years, Clark was an active participant in 4-H, where he showcased cattle and earned numerous awards. These early experiences fostered a lifelong appreciation for agriculture and community involvement. His zest for life carried over into his interests, as he found joy in cooking and baking, often sharing his culinary creations with family and friends.
An avid sports fan, Clark held a special fondness for LSU and the New Orleans Saints, proudly supporting his teams through thick and thin. He cherished the time spent with loved ones, exhibiting a deep and unwavering love for his family.
As we gather to honor Clark's life and legacy, we invite family and friends to share in the celebration of a life well-lived-a life filled with passion, kindness, and an enduring dedication to family and community. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
He is survived by his father, Larry Thibodeaux; mother, Sue Castex; brother, Mark Thibodeaux (Jody); nephew, Peter Thibodeaux (Emmy); great nephews, Pierre Thibodeaux and Jacques Thibodeaux.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Garland Joseph and Beulah Darnell Castex; paternal grandparents, Milton Joseph and Agnes Trouard Thibodeaux.
