Claudia Fuselier

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Claudia Frances Fuselier, 86, who passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Monday, with a Life Celebration to follow at 7:00 pm.Rev. Rusty P. ;Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Brittany Fuselier and Tammy Fuselier. Serving as gift bearers will be Layle Guilbeaux, Alexi Fuselier and Jessen Judice. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Fuselier was a devoted church member of St. Martin de Tours. She enjoyed playing cards with all her friends. She lived life to the fullest and her favorite term of endearment to use - 'Babe'. She was a very generous and caring person, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many, she will be missed dearly. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Tina) Fuselier, and Albert (Tammy) Fuselier III; her daughters, Deborah (Richard) Pharr and Angie (Jude) Guidry; her brother, Judge E.L. Guidry, Jr.; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Doonie" Fuselier Jr., her parents, Edmond Louis Guidry, Sr. and Claudia Gary Guidry; her daughter, Jeanie Theriot; her sister, Hilda Daigre and her brother, Gary Guidry and a great-grandson, Brennen Joseph Blanchard. ;Pallbearers will be Richard Pharr, Jude Guidry, Alex Fuselier, Brian Theriot, Logan Guidry, Taylor Guidry and Gabriel Fuselier. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements .
