Breaux Bridge- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Clement Marie Alexander Simon, 70, who passed away on April 23, 2023, in North Carolina.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, the reading of her obituary to follow. The Carver High School, Class of 1970 will have a special presentation honoring their beloved classmate, Clement.

Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the funeral mass. Readers will be Suzanne Manuel and Lisa Alexander.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2.

Clement was born on April 25, 1952, in Lafayette, LA. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family was important to her, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed shopping, watching basketball and football and visiting with her loved ones. She had immense faith in the Lord, and she read her Bible faithfully. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Kevin James St. Julien (Gloria), Cornell James St. Julien, Dana Marie St. Julien, and Tanya St. Julien Denson (Jonathan); siblings, Edward Alexander and Antoinette Celestine; grandchildren, Kierra St. Julien, Colin St. Julien, Brylan Williams, Jonathan "Deuce" Denson, Jr., Karson St. Julien, and Mya Denson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edgar Alexander, Sr.; mother, Annette Aubrey; and one brother, Edgar Alexander, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jules Alexander,  Alfred Potier, Jace Laflaeur, Colin St. Julien, Brylan Williams, and Aquino Yancy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin St. Julien, Cornell St. Julien, Edward Alexander, Leroy St. Julien, Shannon Simpson, and Carver High School, Class of 1970.
