Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Cleveland Reed Jr., 50, who passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau.
Cleveland enjoyed barbequing, detailing cars, purchasing lotto tickets and scratching them off, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Mouton Reed of Grand Coteau; son, Markell Reed of Grand Coteau; two daughters, Chelsea (Clinton) Moten of Sunset and Candranica Reed of Grand Coteau; mother, Genevieve Thomas Reed; brother, Joseph Lamont Reed of Arnaudville; sisters, Leslie M. (John) Reed of Arnaudville and Marteen R. (Gregory) White of Dallas, TX; and six grandchildren, Caitlyn Prater, Chole Prater, Clinton Prater, Jr., Caiden Prater, Gavyn Hudson, and Logan Charlott.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Reed, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Mable Reed; and maternal grandparents, Donna Dieu and Eveline Thomas.
