VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. , on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 , at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Clovis Joseph Billiot, Sr., 76, who passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette . Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Rev. Michael Delcambre, will officiate at the funeral services. Scriptures will be read by Steven Billiot, Annette Bourgeois and Lindsey Curole. Serving as gift bearers are Cynthia Collins, Jessica and Debbie Billiot. Mr. Billiot was a Chief of the Biloxi Chitimacha Indians. Survivors include his wife, Beulah Verdin Billiot of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Clovis Billiot Jr. and his wife, Debbie Lynn of Breaux Bridge, Clifton A. Billiot of Cut Off, Jimmy Billiot and his wife, Tracy of Forked Island; Stanley Billiot and his wife, Belinda of Mt. Herman and Steven Billiot and his wife, Wilma of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Carolyn Matherne and her husband, Thomas of Breaux Bridge, Barbara Dupre and her husband, Delvin Dupre, Jr. of Breaux Bridge and Cathy Collins and her husband, Logan of Larose; his brother, Jack Billiot and his wife, Minnie of La Rose; his sister, Rita Dantin of Golden Meadow; his 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander 'Alexon' and Emma Billiot; his brothers, Pierre Billiot, Camile Billiot and Marcel Billiot; his sisters, Elmire Billiot, Edna Billiot, Camillia Griffin and Ovilia Darda. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 . Pallbearers will be James, Clifton , Jessica, Charlie, and Joe Clovis Billiot, Jr., Lou Lou Bourgeois, Nicolas Ougel and Cynthia Collins. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
