Clovis Joseph 'C.J.' Guidry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11.00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Clovis Joseph C J Guidry, 76, who passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Breaux Bridge. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. David Broussard will be the Celebrant. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday. Visitation will continue at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Mr. Guidry honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed watching wrestling and western movies. He also enjoyed working outdoors, especially on the tractor. Clovis loved helping family members and spoiling his grandkids. Survivors include his son, Craig Guidry and his wife, Charmaine; his daughter, Pam Frug and her husband, Joseph "Tony"; his brother, Dickie Guidry and his wife, Wanda; his sisters, Alice Hebert, Lucille Kidder and Helen Mae Stelly and her husband, Jesse; and his grandchildren, Zev J. Frug and Zane A. Frug. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clovis and Editha Periou Guidry; his wife, Gloria Degeyter Guidry; his granddaughter, Cami Lynn Guidry; his brothers, Rodney J. Guidry and Rogers J. Guidry and his sister, Verna Mae Kidder. Pallbearers will be Craig Guidry, Tony Fruge', Zev Frug, Zane Frug, Lloyd Degeyter and Dickie Guidry, Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
