Colleen Theresa Doucet

Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Colleen Theresa Doucet, age 62, who passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until time of funeral service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Pastor Jessie Charpentier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Colleen was born in Welch, LA to the late Douglas and Erma Drounette. She loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends. Colleen will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Allen Doucet; son, Allen Lee Doucet, II; daughters, Meka LeJeune, Sarah LaFleur, and Ashley Taylor and husband Craig; grandchildren, Trista, Micha, Bret, Aaron Joseph "Joey", Leslie, Lillian, Shelby, and Faith; brothers, Floyd Morceaux and Bill Drounette; and her sisters, Phyllis Dahmer and Clara Benoit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Erma Lee Leger Drounette; and her siblings, Charles, Gloria, and Angela. Pallbearers will be Allen II, Craig, Burt, Bobby, Andy and Tony.
