Connie Ann Poirier

Breaux Bridge, Louisiana - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Connie A. Poirier, 55, who passed away at Carpenter House, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Friday by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert.

Rev. Bill Melancon will officiate at the funeral service. Readers will be Alexis Breaux and Theresa Gonsuron.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery #2 in Breaux Bridge.

Connie was born on February 21, 1967, in Arnaudville, Louisiana. She was employed for 35 years at the Louisiana Sugar Co-op, Inc. She enjoyed bass fishing, cooking, traveling, going to the casino, and buying Christmas gifts for the grandchildren all year long.  Connie was a hard-working woman who would never stop, even when she was ill.

She will be fondly remembered for her kindness and her compassion towards others.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Breaux (Kyle); son, Justin Boudreaux (Ashley); brothers, Ricky J. Poirier (Dena), Russell J. Poirier (Mary Burns), and  Jimmy A. Poirier; sisters, Linda Poirier, Yvonne Angelle (Butch), and Vickie M. Kidder (Earl); and her grandchildren, Keira Boudreaux, Kolt Boudreaux, Khloe Boudreaux, Raymond Boudreaux, and Liam Breaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Tauzin Poirier; and her sister, Cindy Poirier.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Poirier, Shane Breaux, Kyle Breaux, Hunter Fusilier, and Jack and Butch Angelle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Breaux, Sebastian Poirier, Aiden Poirier, and Stefan Breaux.
