Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am, on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Cora Mae Francis , 72, who passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 7:00 am on Saturday until 10:00 am. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Service. Reading the scriptures will be Pasha Paul and Ruby Celestine. Gift Bearers will be Layla Francis and Keyonna Francis. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. She was a member of the Camilia Club. Mrs. Cora enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and shopping. She cherished moments spent with her family, children, and grandchildren. She was a graduate of Carver High School. She is survived by her husband, Harry Francis of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Andrea Raquel (Robert) James of Stone Mountain, GA,; her son, Donavon Jude (Tamika ) Francis of Breaux Bridge, her brother, Wilbert (Gerry) Paul of Lafayette, her sister, Rita Boman of Aurora, CO, her grandchildren, Nia James, Saleem James and Idris James all of Stone Mountain, GA, Keyonna Francis, Layla Francis and Mason Francis all of Breaux Bridge; her godson, Reginald (Tomi) Alexander of Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Curley Paul and Thelma SampyPaul, her brother, Raymond Paul, and her nephew, Terrance Boman. Pallbearers will be Reginald Alexander, Jamal Paul, Saleem James, Idris James, Shawn Lewis and Don Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Dominque Martinez, Sigmond Potier, and Clayton Demouchette.
