Cori Jean Bonin Lancon

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Cori Jean Bonin Lancon, 39, who passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Cori earned her Associate Degree in Nursing at SLCC. She worked in rehabilitation, nursing homes and home health. She was devoted and caring in her profession. Cori was an avid dog lover and was a dog mom to Peanut, Paisley, Duchess, and Spike. She was an accomplished artist of unique paintings with attention to detail and depth. Her smile was one that would like up a room. Anyone who was blessed to know her was better for having her in their lives. Cori was a loving wife, daughter, and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Kelly Lancon; parents, Ronald and Susan Bonin; brother, Kyle Bonin (Beth); and her paternal grandmother, Alma Jean Firmin.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronald Bonin, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Daniel Rogers, Sr. and Sadie Bonin Rogers.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Bonin, Danny Bonin, Drayran Bryan, Zane Bonin, Daniel Goodwin, and Noah Bryan.
